How can I access my accounts if I am traveling outside Seattle or outside the country?
If you're somewhere where you can get a secure Internet connection, and you're signed on to online banking, you can always check accounts, do transfers, pay bills, and so on, for free. If you want to spend money when travelling overseas, there is a 1% International Transaction fee on your Visa One Card debit card. Your One Card is accepted everywhere Visa is taken. You can use your debit card at international ATMs as well, but be aware there may also be a surcharge from the institution you're withdrawing the funds from.
To ensure I can make purchases easily, should I notify anyone if I'm going to be traveling?
It's always a good idea to notify Visa if you're planning to be traveling. For your own protection, we may block charges to a card if transactions are coming from unusual places. Just let us know the approximate dates you'll be traveling, and we'll be sure your card is as convenient as ever.
