Your money should work as hard as you do. Salal Certificates are like certificates of deposit (or CDs) offered by banks. Like CDs, they pay a higher dividend rate than savings accounts in exchange for your promise to leave your money deposited for a specified amount of time. Choose from a wide range of rates and terms to earn competitive dividends, including Choice Certificates (only $500 to open) and Youth Certificates (only $100 to open).

- Terms from 6 months to 4 years
- Minimum opening balance of $1,000
- Longer terms and/or larger opening balances may receive higher dividend rates
- A penalty may be imposed for early withdrawal
- Compounding certificates are calculated and credited monthly
- Increase certificate rate by 0.25% with 2,500 Salal Rewards points
