Running a business means balancing a lot at once, and even small banking issues can slow down your day. Whether you need help troubleshooting digital banking, reporting fraud, updating account access, requesting a temporary transaction limit increase, or getting account information, Salal’s Business Services support team is here to help keep your business banking running smoothly.

Our team works with business members every banking business day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., helping solve problems, answer questions, and support the day-to-day banking needs that keep businesses moving forward. From navigating online banking tools to helping members through stressful fraud situations, we’re committed to making business banking easier, more secure, and more personal.

What is your favorite thing to assist our members with?

I enjoy assisting our members with fraud, especially when we recover funds promptly, because it’s a huge relief to the businesses and us.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

Outside of work, I love going to concerts. I’ve gone with friends, but don’t mind going alone if no one can join.

What is your favorite thing to assist our members with?

Although I’m not sure I’d call it my favorite request, I do enjoy assisting members with fraud. I remember when I first started on the team, fraud cases were among the most stressful for me to handle. Over time, I became more comfortable because we have an incredibly streamlined process for handling fraud cases, which makes it easier to guide members through some stressful situations. Fraud can be one of the most difficult experiences for a member, but that just makes it all the more rewarding to support them through it.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

A fun fact about me is that I once got mistaken for a member of the crew on the movie 21 & Over. One night, I was walking through the UW campus and accidentally wandered onto the film set. I walked right in, and people assumed I was one of the hair and makeup artists. I guess I was dressed well enough that night to look the part. I ended up checking out the hair and makeup area, watching some behind-the-scenes filming, and even joining the snack line during breaks. At one point, I stood right next to the actors and watched them film their takes. It was a wild experience playing an unsuspecting imposter and just blending right in.

What is your favorite thing to assist our members with?

My favorite way to assist our business members is by tackling complex tasks and troubleshooting. Whether it’s navigating major account changes or resolving fraud issues, I thrive on the challenge and the pressure that come with them. It is incredibly rewarding to find the right solution for a member and receive their positive feedback once an issue is resolved.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I’ve been a drummer for most of my life, having fallen in love with music back in the second grade. This month actually marks the second anniversary of my Portland-based band, Corazones Tóxicos (Toxic Hearts)! We play a unique style that I like to call “Melodic Metal” with a blend of Spanish, Japanese, and English. We currently have two songs out on all streaming platforms, Alma de Fuego and Guerrero Jaguar, and we’re working on releasing two more very soon.

What is your favorite thing to assist our members with?

I like troubleshooting online banking issues. It’s a system I’m very familiar with, and I enjoy helping people utilize it to make banking easier.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I’m an avid movie fan and physical media collector. I have a personal film library of more than 1800 titles. I love finding fun and weird movies that people have never heard of.
