Send money with Zelle

Send and Receive Money with Zelle®.

Send money with Zelle®. It’s fast, safe, and typically arrives within minutes1. Using just an email address or U.S. mobile phone number, you can send and receive money with people you trust, regardless of where they bank1.

Many of you have been asking us to add a quick and secure way to pay back family and friends through our Mobile Banking app, so naturally we’re more than a little excited to announce that access to Zelle® has been added to Salal Mobile Banking. For those of you who might not be familiar with Zelle®, here’s some quick info to help get you started.

How can I start using Zelle®?

If you already use the Salal Mobile Banking app, then Zelle® is already available in your app. (If you aren’t enrolled in Salal Mobile and Online Banking, you’ll need to sign up first.) Once you have logged into your mobile app, you can start sending money in three easy steps:

  1. Select “Send Money with Zelle®”.
  2. Enroll your U.S. mobile number or email address and accept the terms and conditions.
  3. You’re ready to start sending and receiving money with Zelle®.

Is Zelle® safe?

Keeping your money and information safe is very important to us. When you use Zelle® within our mobile app, your information is protected with the same technology we use to keep your Salal Credit Union account safe.

It’s good to keep in mind that sending money with Zelle® is just like handing a person cash. So, you want to make sure you use it to pay only people you know and trust (like your sister, your roommate, or your babysitter). Don’t use Zelle® to send money to people you don’t know (such as a stranger you met online).
