Having diversity in the banking industry is a win for the entire community. Salal Academy was created to help to realize this vision of a diverse financial industry workforce. The Academy is an immersive job-prep training program designed for people in our community who are interested in exploring a career in banking. Best of all, you’ll get paid to learn. Participants get a $1,000 stipend after they complete the program’s requirements.
Salal Academy offers more than just job-shadowing—it provides a gateway to new learning opportunities. Through a combination of classroom learning, independent activities, in-branch training, and professional development—including practice job interviews—participants in the program gain both technical and soft skills training, enhancing their readiness for a career in banking.
