Travelers Auto and Home Insurance
The Travelers Auto and Home Insurance* program offers a discount on Auto, Home, Condo, and Renters insurance just for being a Salal Credit Union Member. You may also qualify for additional discounts like the multi-policy discount on auto or home, the hybrid/electric vehicle discount on auto or the loss-free discount on home insurance. Loan Protection Insurance
We offer three types of Loan Protection Insurance: Credit Life, Disability Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance. Different coverage levels are available for each type.
Night Drop
The night depository (night drop) allows Salal members to place after-hour deposits and loan payments in a secure location.
We service the night drop each business day. Envelopes placed in the night drop after the final service time will be processed the next business day.
- Monday–Friday: Serviced before 9:00 a.m. and after 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PT)
- Saturday: Serviced before 10:00 a.m. (PT)
Shared branch members cannot make deposits or loan payments using a Salal Credit Union night drop.
Money Orders
Available at any branch. For the current money order fee, see the Consumer Product & Fee Disclosure. In addition, Salal Preferred Interest and Premier Checking accounts feature free money orders.
Notary Public Service
This service is offered free as a courtesy to our members at all branches, though times may vary. Please call ahead to confirm that notary services are available before you visit.
Wire Transfers
Incoming wire transfers from other financial institutions to Salal accounts are free for all Salal members. To initiate an incoming wire transfer, you can download the form in our Form Library. We require the following information for routing incoming transfers:
- Salal routing number: 325081610
- Salal address: 9706 4th Avenue NE, Suite 400, Seattle WA 98115
- The complete 13-digit Salal account number of the beneficiary.
- The legal account name and address that appears on the beneficiary’s statement.
Outgoing domestic wire transfers are free for members with a Salal Silver Horizons checking account. Otherwise, they are $25 per transfer.
Salal members can complete domestic wires anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. PT, Monday through Friday. We send wires received after these hours or on Saturday, the next business day.
The following information is needed to send a domestic wire:
- Your complete 13-digit Salal account number.
- The amount of funds to be transferred.
- Beneficiary bank routing instructions.
- Complete beneficiary account number.
- Beneficiary legal account name and address, including city and state.
- Any additional information for the receiving bank or beneficiary (for example, an invoice number).
To request wires by phone, you must complete, sign, and notarize an Outgoing Wire Agreement form before the wire request. Please visit a branch or call 800.562.5515 to request this form.
Consumer Members: Outgoing International Wire Transfers: At this time, Salal does not offer international wire transfers for consumer members.
